1. App license

Match Update is made available through Apple’s App Store and is licensed, not sold. Unless a custom license is presented in App Store Connect, use of the app is governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement and the applicable App Store usage rules.

2. Website use

This website provides information, support and policy documents for Match Update. You may use it for lawful personal purposes. You must not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, or use its content in a misleading way.

3. Scores and analysis

Match Update is a personal tennis scoring and recordkeeping tool. Scores, statistics, momentum indicators, maps and other analysis depend on the information entered by users. They are not official tournament records, rankings, officiating decisions, medical advice or professional coaching advice.

The person scoring a match is responsible for checking the selected format, players, score and final result before relying on or sharing it.

4. Connectivity and Apple services

Local scoring is designed to tolerate changes in connectivity. Synchronization, invitations, remote following, maps and notifications depend on Apple services, account status, device settings and network availability. Near-real-time delivery is not guaranteed.

Apple services and third-party map information are governed by their own terms and policies.

5. Availability and changes

We may improve, change or discontinue website or app features. We aim to keep published information accurate, but screenshots and descriptions may reflect a particular app version. Applicable consumer rights are not limited by these terms.

6. Intellectual property

Match Update’s name, icon, website design, original text and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Apple, iCloud, iPhone, iPad, App Store and Apple Maps are trademarks or services of Apple Inc. Other names and marks belong to their respective owners.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how Match Update handles app and website information.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these website terms when the service or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. The license governing an installed app remains the license presented through the App Store.
